Sewing Class

I'm not super great at sewing. I've taught myself how by watching my grandma sew and a couple of youtube videos. I know, kinda sad, but I've been able to make it work for the projects I've done.

I've been wanting to take a sewing class for a long time, and finally a local fabric store in town is offering one. I'm getting a one on one lesson once a week for three weeks.

My first class was yesterday, and so far I've learned a lot.
Here's what I'm making:

I'm also thinking I want to learn how to hem my own jeans and do a couple of other things. I'm super excited!

Once you learn you will find so many projects to make! I took a class to learn the basics, then taught myself the rest and watched many youtube videos :) Check out my blog - I started with pillows, then kids' clothing and now I'm addicted to making dresses for myself. You will LOVE sewing!
