Simple Can Covers

I was looking for a great way to store my paint brushes, pencils, and all my extra stuff. I thought if I saved some old cans maybe I could do something with them. Then I came across this fabric that I love, and decided it would be perfect for my craft room.

Here's what you'll need:
Cans (washed & dried of course)
Fabric (I bought a fat quarter and still had some left over after 3 cans)
Hot glue gun and glue
Scissors

I took my can and wrapped the fabric around it to decide what size to cut the fabric. I left a little extra for the inside and enough to fold over some edges.
I took my fabric and ironed the whole piece, then ironed two sides.
I put the ironed side on the bottom of the can and glued it.
I glued the fabric on the can with the ironed side on the outside so it looked a little cleaner.
Then I glued the fabric around the inside of the can. I went about an inch into the can because I knew it was going to be filled with stuff on up on a shelf, so no one would see where it ends inside.
