Hair Clip Holder

I've made some fun hair clips recently see them here and here.

One of my friends had the cutest hair clip holder made from felt and ribbon. I thought it would be a fun little project  to try to make one. Since we had a cousins birthday this past weekend, I knew it would be the perfect gift (she turned 7).

Supplies:
Felt
Ribbon
Embroidery Thread
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
Stuffing (I used stuffing for a pillow)

I cut out 4 cloud shapes,  2 big and 2 small. The big ones should be exactly the same size and so should the small. One will be the front and the other the back.

(sorry about the blurry picture and the horrible background)

I took the large cloud and hot glued the string and the ribbon on what will be the inside.

Then I glued one of the smaller clouds on the bottom.

I hand stitched both clouds about 3/4 of the way around using the embroidery thread then stuffed them, and finished sewing.

It was a pretty easy and quick project, it probably took about 20 minutes.

I made a little birdie one too. They were so fun to make, and I plan on making some more!
